Yeah, I've been pretty inactive.
Just finished my exams! Wooh?!
(Unfortunately, I am less art-y of a person in real life than I present myself here- all the subjects I'm taking are Math/Science/Languages... I've failed my Year 9 art teacher T___T ~please forgive me~)
And the very first thing I did was grab my A3 sketch pad out (which I haven't added anything to for 14 months) and did 5 minute sketches. Yep, because that was how long I felt like drawing for: go me.
I've been through pretty trying times in the past 6 months, so sorry for the gloomy drawings.
I'm going to start trying to add coloured pieces as well. I actually learned to colour (not colouring-in books, like actually learning it) before I learned to draw, but it's just not as convenient...:
Imagine straddling into class with a pack of 36 coloured pencils and a sketch book - the teacher's going to know what I'm ACTUALLY doing in the classroom.
And I've drawn about 15 pieces in the last 6 months. Some will never see the light of day, others are on paper so crap they're only on my blog:
flowerjo.livejournal.com/ (You can explore my 30-minute-pen-speed-sketches there. May have some religious and personal stuff.
)
And the remainder, the satisfactory ones, are here.
Well, over the NEXT 6 months, I am likely to take over props for School House Drama, so you may see those later. Papier Mache, here we come!
It's 2 am - I'm off!
